This is one of the rare 1969 AMERADA HESS Tanker Trucks. This truck was not available to the public, and is one of the rarest Hess trucks in existance. In Mint-in-Box condition, the book value of this truck is $3,500.00. Obviously this truck is not even close to Mint Condition, which is why the price is just a fraction of the Mint-in-Box book value. First of all, there is no box to this truck. The truck is missing several parts as shown in the pictures (mirrors, hose, little chrome parts on the fenders). The decals show significant flaking as shown in the pictures.
On the positive side, the battery compartment is 100% clean, and all lights work.
