3. Decide how you wish to Pay:

• PayPal - For quickest payment and shipment, we recommend PayPal.  Currently PayPal is the only way we have of accepting credit card payments.  Just click on the link next to the listing on our web page.  Note: this method currently does not combine shipping charges for multiple item purchases.  For Multiple Item purchases, just eMail me which trucks you want, and I will prepare a PayPal invoice for you.

• Check or Money Order - If you prefer to pay via Check or money order, just eMail us your order.  Please include the Year, Description, Condition, and Price of the Hess Truck(s) and Collectibles that you wish to purchase.  Also, include your Name and Complete Shipping Address.  Note: Personal Checks must clear before shipment!
  • Wait for an eMail confirmation of your order - You will receive confirmation usually within 12 hours after receipt of your order.  This eMail will include an order summary and a grand total($) including shipping.
  • Send your payment to:

4. Wait for your package - Your package will either be shipped via the US Postal Service or UPS, usually within 24 hours after receipt of Payment (with the exception of personal checks or eCheck payments which must clear before shipping).  On the rare occasion that there might be a delay in shipping, you will receive an eMail informing you of the delay.  Your trucks will be packaged carefully to ensure that they are not damaged during shipment  After the package is shipped, we will eMail you the Package Tracking # or Delivery Confirmation #.

5. ENJOY!! - We are sure that you will be satisfied with the condition of your Hess Truck(s).  However, if for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us ASAP and we will do our best to resolve the issue!

Information about Shipping Charges:

• Current Shipping Charges are posted on the Front page: www.hesstrucks.net
• We offer flat rate shipping charges.  This means you pay the same amount no matter where in the United States you are located.  This is done to keep things simple.  www.hesstrucks.net is a small family owned side business and we do not have the programming knowledge to incorporate a fancy shopping cart system that automatically calculates shipping charges based on your zip code.
• Yes, this does mean that if you live in the South-East or Mid-Atlantic states you will likely pay more than actual postage costs, while people on the West Coast, Alaska & Hawaii get a little break.  Also remember that there is more to shipping costs than just postage.  Boxes, packing material, tape, labels, etc. all add to the total cost of shipping
• If you order multiple quantities of the same model truck using PayPal, combined shipping charges will automatically be calculated.   Since we do not have a shopping cart system, you can not order multiple years using PayPal without ordering each model separately.  This means that combined shipping charges will not be automatically credited.  However, we will refund the excess charges.  We would prefer that if you want to order multiple years, to eMail us the order and if you want to pay via PayPal we will prepare a single PayPal invoice for you.
• Our standard flat rate shipping charges means that we pick the shipping method of our choice.  This will be either UPS, Priority Mail, or USPS Parcel Post.  If you want to request a specific shipping method, eMail us and we will try to accommodate your request and let you know if additional charges will apply.
• International Shipping - Our standard shipping charges do not apply to orders shipped outside the Unities States.  If you wish to place an international order, please eMail us and we will calculate what your shipping charges will be.  All international orders will be quoted and shipped via International Priority Mail from the US Postal Service.  We can not be held responsible for what happens to the order once it leaves the hands of the US Postal Service

Other Important Information:

• Prices are not negotiable
• Batteries are not included unless they are factor pre-installed.  This means that we do not include the C or D sized batteries.  We realize that it says on the box that batteries are included and if you purchase the trucks at a Hess Station they do give you a set of batteries.  Unfortunatly we do not always get batteries from our sources.  In addition, by not including the batteries it helps keep our shipping costs down.  The small watch and AAA batteries that come pre-installed in the accessory vehicles and miniature trucks are left in place to keep the trucks in NRFB (Never Removed from Box) condition.  The protective plastic strips keep these smaller batteries from leaking over time.  We can not guarantee that the pre-installed batteries in older trucks will still be good. 
• We can not accept credit card #s directly.  Please don't eMail me your credit card # or try to call it in over the phone.  PayPal is currently the only way I have of accepting credit card payments.  This can only be done on-line, utilizing PayPal secure servers.
• Personal Checks or eCheck Payments must clear before shipping.
