www.hesstrucks.net is an independent, family owned business.

We specialize in the sale of Hess collectable toy trucks.

Other than being loyal Hess Customers,

We are in no way affiliated with or approved by the Hess Corporation!

It is understood and assumed that all buyers have read and understand these terms and conditions before placing an order.  Please eMail us before placing an order if you have any questions or concerns.

1.  Our Guarantee

  • We guarantee that every Hess Truck and collectable sold on our site will be brand new and  in 100% Mint-in-Box condition (unless described otherwise). 
  • If you feel that your truck was not in the condition you expected, eMail us within 7 days of receipt.  We will decide to either refund or replace the item. 
  • You must contact us within 7 days of receipt and receive an authorization from us before sending any merchandise back!

2.   Refund Policy

  • Damaged, Defective, or Misrepresented items.  If you item arrives damaged or if you feel that our description did not accurately reflect the condition of your purchase, please eMail us within 7 days of receipt.  You must receive an authorization from us before sending your truck back!   We will make the decision to either replace the item or provide a refund.
  • Changed your mind or found it cheaper somewhere else.  Sorry but all sales are final.  As a buyer, you are responsible for shopping around and considering whether you really want something before making the purchase.  Under some circumstances we may decided to allow an item to be returned.  However you will be responsible for all return shipping costs.  The original shipping cost plus a 20% restocking fee will be subtracted from the refunded amount.
  • Purchased the wrong item - As long the item is in the same condition as when we sent it and you eMail us within 7 days after receipt of item, we will work with you to exchange it for another item.  However, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee. 
  • Absolutely no refunds or exchanges after 7 days of receipt
  • Any items returned to us without receiving an authorization to do so, will not be refunded.

3.   Price Changes

  • In the collectables market, prices are always going up and down depending on market conditions.
  • We can not offer a refund for the price difference if the price drops after you make your purchase. 

4.  Package shipped to the wrong address

  • If we mis-labeled the package, we will do whatever it takes to correct the problem at no cost to you!
  • If you provided us with a wrong address we can not be held responsible if you are unable to receive the package. 
  • Please let us know ASAP if you gave us an old or incorrect shipping address and we will work to correct the issue.  If you contact us with an address change or correction before we ship the package, we can easily make the change. 
  • If you request an address correction or change after shipping there is not much we can do.  If the package is returned to us, we can re-ship to the correct address, but you will be responsible for all additional shipping costs.

5.   Battery Policy

  • Batteries are not included unless they are factory pre-installed.  This means that we do not include the C or D sized batteries.    The small watch, AA, and AAA batteries that come pre-installed in the accessory vehicles and miniature trucks are left in place to keep the trucks in NRFB (Never Removed from Box) condition.
  • For older trucks, the factory pre-installed AA and AAA batteries will leak over time.  Therefore, we remove the AA and AAA batteries after the truck is about 5 years old to prevent damage due to battery leakage.
  • The small watch batteries (A76) that come pre-installed are all left in place.  However, we can not guarantee that they will still be good in older model trucks. 

6.   Shipping Charges

  • We now offer FREE SHIPPING on all items!

7.  Shipping method

  • We use either USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.  The method used depends upon the location it is being shipped to, the weight of the package, and the total value of the order.  Our FREE SHIPPING means that we select the shipping method.  If you want to request a specific shipping method, please eMail us before placing the order and we will let you know if any additional charges will apply

8.  Shipping Time

  • We try to ship out all orders within 48 hours after receipt of cleared payment.
  • All Orders should arrive in less than a week
  • Since we are a small family owned business there may be times when shipping will be delayed due to family emergencies or the occasional vacation.  We will do our best to notify you if the shipping time will be delayed by more than a few days.

9.  Payment Method

  • Our preferred payment method is Credit Card or PayPal.  Just click on the "Add to Cart" buttons next to the listings on our web site.  We can also accept personal checks and money orders.  Please eMail us if you wish to pay via check or money order.  Personal Checks and PayPal eChecks will delay shipment as they must clear before we can ship.

10.  Phone-in Orders

  • We do not accept phone-in orders.  All orders must be place on-line by using the Add to Cart buttons next to the listings on our web site or by eMailing us.  Do not eMail us your credit card number!  For your security and protection, all Credit Card payments must be processed online using PayPal secure servers.

11.  International Orders

  • We no longer accept orders for items shipped outside the United States
